Featured Guest, Liz Courts, Headlines This Expo Designed for Gamers – Do Not Miss It!

The 2019 Game Theory Expo (GTEX) welcomes 30-year veteran, avid gamer Liz Courts, as it presents a weekend of tabletop gaming. The convention focuses on the independent and small publisher side of the industry, while also making table-space for gaming available to the general public. Check it out this Saturday at Hilton NASA Clear Lake!

Featured guest Liz Courts has worked on over 90 different roleplaying game products, helped organize the first unofficial PaizoCon, started and headed the Wayfinder fanzine for its first four issues, went on to work for Paizo (publisher of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game), and is now a mostly organic, free range freelancer, designing books and illustrating for numerous publishers. Additional guests include Houstonians Brett Barkley and Angel Viator Smith and Texans Mark Carroll, Calvin Johns, Amanda Kahl, and Michael O. Varhola.
GTEX is also proud to include the Ettin Games and Hobbies board game library. The library is open to all attendees for the duration of the show, so come find a new game or play an old favorite!

The expo will once again have a selection of games that attendees can play to win that copy of the game at the end of the show. Simply visit the game library and ask about the play-to-win titles to see what's available and get in a game. Each of these games will be given away to a randomly selected person who played that copy of the game during the show.
Additionally, GTEX will feature a Passport Program. Get your passport card from the registration desk and visit each Exhibitor and Partner Skirmisher Publishing to collect stickers. Collecting stickers will require at least talking to them about their games and possibly viewing or participating in a demo of a game. Once you have collected your stickers, return your passport card to the registration desk for a chance to win amazing prizes, including games and gift certificates donated by sponsors and supporters.
